A collective of producers lead by Damon Albarn recently visited the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) to produce a new album for Oxfam. T-E-E-D (Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs), Dan The Automator, Jneiro Jarel, Richard Russell, Actress, Marc Antoine, Alwest, Rodaidh McDonald and Kwes all made the trip with the plan - to make an album in 7 days.

Wracked by years of conflict, the DRC is home to one of the world's worst humanitarian crises, and proceeds from the album will go to helping Oxfam's work, helping thousands of the DRC's poorest people.

Excuse the poor picture quality but these two cats need their props Florent (left) and Renauld held us down for 8 days last week in the Congo and gave everything, as point people they were are unmatchable. These two musketeers with Marc Antionne went with us everywhere showed us the ropes ,translated , found and fetched; if we needed it it was no problem. A joy to work with them and impossible to work without.A couple of real renegades, so fellas thank you thank you. If you’ve seen the Staff Benda Bilili film you’ll know what they’re capable of. If not then why not..?-Remi
